Help & FAQ

Clear answers, before you ask.

Mystery is for headlines. Logistics, money and safety should never be a guess.

Choosing a trip

What’s the difference between a Tour and a Vacation?

A Tour is a guided group trip of two to four days on a fixed itinerary, with overnight transit from your city and a Host throughout. A Vacation is a longer, stay-led holiday: the stay is the point, with a few guided mornings and plenty of free time.

Why do you ask for my details before showing the full plan?

So we can send you the plan and answer questions about that trip. The facts that decide whether you’re interested — photos, highlights, starting price, the next date and seats available — are always public. Day-by-day timings, hotel names and every date and price open after you save your name, phone and city once. You’re never asked again on that device.

Do I have to be on WhatsApp?

No. WhatsApp updates are a separate, optional tick and are never needed to see a trip.

Can I travel solo?

Yes, and many people do. Choose “Pair me” to share a twin room with another solo traveller of the same gender, or take a room to yourself for a single supplement.

Booking and payment

When does booking open?

Bookings are open for all listed departures. Select your preferred date and departure city on any trip page to reserve your place, or use “Get first word” for custom departures.

How will I pay?

On this website, through Razorpay: UPI, cards, netbanking and EMI. A booking is confirmed only after the payment is verified, and you get a WhatsApp confirmation within a minute.

Will I pay a deposit or the full amount?

The full amount is paid at booking, with flexible EMI options available at checkout.

What if a departure doesn’t reach its minimum?

Each city has a minimum group size, shown as “Confirms at 12 travellers · 09 in”. Seven days before departure, an under-minimum city is either moved onto another city’s transit at our cost or cancelled with a full refund.

On the trip

Who is the Host?

A named ONEX person on the ground for every departure. They check everyone in, run the day, handle problems and hand over your card on the last evening.

What do I need to bring?

ID details are requested three days before departure. A packing list arrives with your pickup reminder.

What about food restrictions?

Tell us at booking. Vegetarian, Jain and common allergy needs are handled on every trip.

The card

How do I get a Destination Card?

By completing a trip. Your Host hands it to you at the final dinner; the digital twin arrives on your phone the same evening.

What if I miss the handover?

If you travelled but weren’t at the dinner, we post it to you.

Can I buy a card?

No. Cards are only earned by travelling — that’s what makes them worth keeping.

Scouts and partners

What is a Scout?

A college intern who shares ONEX trips with a personal link or QR code. Scouts earn points only for paid and travelled seats, and their rewards are trips and certificates, not cash.

If a Scout sent me, do I pay them?

Never. Every booking is paid on this website. No money ever passes through a Scout.

I run a hotel or experience. How do I work with ONEX?

Sign up on the Partners page. We review every application and only approved partners appear in itineraries.
