Four centuries of the Old City, in two nights.
Hyderabad is usually done as a list: Charminar, Golconda, a biryani, a pearl shop. We built this trip the other way round, around the hours when the Old City is at its best.
You arrive at dawn after an overnight transit, start with an Irani breakfast, and spend the first evening at Charminar after the day-trippers have gone. The second day goes to the Qutb Shahi Tombs at first light and a long table of Hyderabadi food.
Nothing is rushed. Walking is real but gentle, and there is always a car for the long stretches.
